Fragile!

This marking indicates the following information about the package:

The contents of the shipment are fragile. Therefore, the cargo must not be placed underneath or on top of other cargo if there is a risk of tipping over or otherwise damaging the contents during transportation or storage. It must be kept upright according to the direction of the arrows.

This type of cargo must be placed securely in the vehicle. Other cargo must not be placed on top of it, and no cargo that could potentially damage it should be placed nearby.

Special attention must also be paid to the packaging itself. Each individual item should be placed in additional protective packaging, with cushioning materials such as bubble wrap, air cushions, foam, fixing foam or similar materials placed between the items and the packaging walls. These materials help protect each item from friction and impact, significantly reducing the risk of damage.

This Way Up!

This symbol indicates that the package must be positioned according to the direction of the arrows – upright. Under no circumstances should the package be placed upside down, as this may compromise the safety of the goods during transportation and storage.

Cargo marked with this symbol must not be thrown, placed on its side or turned upside down. When loading the vehicle, it must be positioned securely and, if necessary, additionally secured to prevent it from shifting during transportation.

The goods inside the package must be packed securely and appropriately. If there is empty space between individual items, it should be filled with suitable material to prevent the items from moving inside the package and reduce the risk of damage.

Before loading your cargo, make sure that this label has been attached to the package if the goods need to remain in a specific position during transportation and storage.

Handle with Care!

This marking indicates that the cargo must be handled with particular care during transportation.

The cargo must be moved carefully and handled gently and with great attention. It must not be thrown or placed in an unstable position. In addition, unsuitable cargo that could cause damage must not be placed on top of it, and surrounding cargo must not pose a risk to the shipment.

When this symbol is displayed on the packaging, the cargo must be handled with the utmost care and attention throughout transportation and storage.

Stacking Limited!

This type of marking provides the following information about the cargo:

• indicates the maximum permissible weight that may be placed on top of the cargo;
• if the cargo is lightweight, it must never be placed underneath heavier cargo;
• lightweight cargo may be placed on top of other cargo where stacking is permitted;
• this type of cargo must not be placed on the bottom layer of a stack.
  

Clamp Here!

This cargo marking indicates that the package may only be handled by gripping or applying pressure at the designated points.

Do Not Clamp!

This symbol warns that special care must be taken when loading, unloading, transporting and storing the cargo, and situations in which the package could be squeezed or damaged by surrounding cargo must be avoided.

The placement area must therefore be carefully selected to ensure that the cargo is not compressed or trapped between other shipments.

Do Not Stack!

This symbol indicates that the cargo must not be stacked on top of other cargo. Boxes, pallets and other types of packaging must be arranged across the floor of the vehicle or warehouse so that no other packages are placed on top of them.

Very often, packaging may look strong and secure from the outside, leading to packages being stacked on top of each other. However, the goods inside may be sensitive to pressure and should not be subjected to additional weight during transportation.

If you want your cargo to be transported according to your requirements and prevent packages from being stacked on top of one another, the sender must ensure that the appropriate marking is used and that the relevant label is attached to all cargo packages.

Do Not Use Forklift!

This marking indicates that the cargo must not be lifted using a forklift or other handling equipment from the side where the symbol is displayed on the packaging. If the symbol is not present on a particular side of the package, the cargo may be lifted from that side using a forklift.

Limited Stacking Height

This symbol on the packaging indicates a limitation on the number of cargo layers that may be stacked. It specifies the maximum number of identical packages that may be placed on top of one another during transportation and storage.
